Campaign planning worksheet

What happens after someone watches?

A practical plan for turning a good video into customer enquiries or purchases. Use it with your marketing team before commissioning the next batch of content.

Build the plan ↓

01
Start with
the sale.

Choose one product and one action you want a prospective customer to take: buy online, book a sales call, request a quote or register for an event.

Write down: what you sell, who buys it, why they choose it, and what a profitable new customer is worth to the business.

Check that the business can handle more demand. A digital product or a physical product with dependable fulfilment can grow differently from a service with a limited number of appointments.

02
Make something
worth watching.

List three questions your customers ask before buying. Each can become a useful video: a demonstration, an honest comparison or advice that solves part of their problem.

Write down: the person who can explain this credibly, the product or supporting footage needed, and the useful thing the viewer will learn.

When working with Hanami, we develop the ideas, scripts and shot lists. Your team can record the planned footage on a phone in a typical 1–3-hour monthly session. We shape the edit around attention, clarity and the next action.

03
Give people
a reason to respond.

Offer something they would actually want: a useful guide, a buying checklist, a sample or an appropriate discount. It should attract the people who could become customers.

Write down: the offer, the comment keyword and what the automatic message will say. For example: “Comment GUIDE for our free buying checklist.”

Then choose where to send it. The message can ask for an email address or invite them to a LINE or WhatsApp channel. Explain what they will receive and how you will use their contact details.

04
Build the path
to buying.

Deliver the promised item. Include a relevant invitation to explore a product or book a call. Plan useful follow-up messages that answer buying questions, demonstrate the product and bring people back to the next action.

Write down: the buying link, who handles questions, and the follow-up messages. Agree what happens when someone is ready to buy and who owns that handover.

A property buyer may need a meeting. A guide buyer may be able to purchase immediately. Design the path around the product and the customer.

05
Measure
what paid off.

Connect the content, messages and buying action so you can see where people respond and where they stop. Then improve the weakest part of the path.

  • Attention: who watches and which ideas hold their interest?
  • Response: how many people request the offer and share their details?
  • Buying action: how many book a meeting or place an order?
  • Business result: what revenue and profit can you connect to those customers?

Write down: where each result is recorded, who checks it, and the next experiment. Keep views, contacts and customers separate: each tells you something different.
